In some cases, we will complete a school observation/visit in an educational setting. In most instances, this will mean a member of our service will attend your child’s school to get a better understanding of how your child behaves, feels and acts in this environment. This is a helpful part of the assessment, but is only one part of the whole assessment process.
If your child is home schooled or not in an education setting, parts of the assessments can be completed in other environments. These can include during social activities and respite. Contact your local service and they can support you.
