I am a Child/Young Person

Looked after children are also referred to as children in care, a term which many children and young people prefer.

We are a team of nurses who are here to support children and young people like you who are looked after. We work with you and your carers to come up with a plan together as to how we can support you.

looked after children are:

• Living with foster parents.
• Living in a residential children's home.
• Living in residential settings like schools or secure units.
