Face to face, telephone and virtual support. Anyone can drop in for a coffee and a chat, staff will assess the person and offer emotional support, signpost if applicable, allow access to IT equipment and phones if needed. We are looking to start promoting activities over the next few weeks – Allotments, reading club, walking. We are also offering support with our clients to use wellbeing apps on their phones.

Canolfan Ni, Corwen (South Denbighshire Community Partnership) and KIM

Based at our centre, Canolfan Ni in Corwen, the purpose of South Denbighshire Community Partnership is that of promoting benefit to the inhabitants of South Denbighshire. Our aim is to provide facilities, services and activities for the community, of all ages, to address issues of social isolation, improving access to services and enhance opportunities to improve health and well being.

Canolfan Ni has an ‘open door’ policy and willing to welcome anyone who wish to grab a cuppa and have a chat.

  • Food distribution services (Fare Share, Food Banks)
  • Welfare and financial advice services (in partnership with Citizens Advice Denbighshire)

  • ‘Buddy Caller’ & Check In service (delivered by staff or volunteers)
  • Art and Craft Therapy groups
  • Well-Being groups; including meditation, mindfulness, relaxation etc (in partnership with Vale of Clwyd MIND)
  • Walk n Talk groups
  • Access to online resources
  • Baby and Family Yoga
  • Armchair exercise groups
  • Active volunteer programme
  • Community use ICT facilities
  • SDCP works closely with numerous other organisations, so if we are unable to offer a specific service, we will always be willing to support you in accessing the right one
