Jane Moore

Jane joined Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board as Deputy Director of Public Health in November 2023 with a substantial record of working to reduce health inequalities, improve population health intelligence and deliver effective strategic transformation in the NHS.

Jane coordinated the health system response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, worked as Director of Prevention and Wellbeing for the West Midlands Combined Authority, and developed the first Marmot City as Director of Public Health in Coventry. Previously, she undertook a number of national and regional NHS roles, including as Director of Quality and Patient Safety in the Department of Health. As a Director of Public Health in London, Jane led the UK capital’s screening programme and the emergency preparedness, resilience and response (EPPR) plans for NHS North East London during the London 2012 Olympics.
